RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court has urged Muslims to observe the crescent moon of Ramadan on the evening of Friday, February 28, 2025, which corresponds to the 29th of Sha’ban 1446 in the Islamic Hijri calendar.
In an official statement, the court requested that anyone who sights the moon either with the naked eye or through binoculars report their observation to the nearest court and register their testimony. Alternatively, they may contact a local center for assistance in reaching the relevant authorities.
